On automated automotive production lines, the SR511 module supplies power to the production line control system. Previously, when the production line used non-redundant power modules, any failure would cause the line to stop immediately, resulting in an average of three hours of downtime per failure and significant financial losses. The introduction of the SR511 redundant power module has effectively prevented production interruptions caused by power supply failures.
- Ensure adequate ventilation space inside the cabinet: Maintain a ventilation gap of at least 20 mm above and below the module to prevent heat buildup and derating due to high temperatures
- A fuse must be installed at the front end of the 24 VDC input; a 16 A industrial DC fuse is recommended
- Installation of the unit without a protective enclosure is strictly prohibited in open-air, dusty, or corrosive gas environments; it must be housed in a sealed control cabinet
- When configuring parallel redundancy with new and old modules, use only the same model (3BSE000863R1); mixing with other power supply models is prohibited
